VSC – Volunteering Program

The success of the Club also depends on the efforts of the member volunteers. Volunteering in the Club is a great opportunity to learn more about the sport of figure skating, how the club runs, meet new people in the Club, and have a good time while helping out. There are many opportunities to volunteer in the Club.

Each family must return a completed Volunteer form and post dated cheque (see registration brochure) with their registration package in order for the skaters registration to be processed. Each family may choose to earn back $10.00 per hour up to a maximum of $100.00 (equal to the post dated cheque) by volunteering at the Club. The volunteer hours must be contributed during the Fall, Winter or Spring session. The Volunteer Co-ordinator will contact each family by the beginning of each session to confirm your families volunteer contribution.
