Lee has been coaching since 1997 with several clubs in the lower mainland and on the sunshine coast.  She came to coaching after graduating from UBC with a BSc in Microbiology.  Finding that was microbiology was not going be a career, she went back to her first love, skating.

Lee started coaching on the Sunshine Coast and then moved back to the lower mainland, where she has coached beginners to provincial competitors.  Now that she has a blended family, with teens and toddlers, she spends her time coaching CanSkate, CanPowerSkate and support coaching for the senior coaches at the Vancouver Skating Club. 

For Lee, great satisfaction comes from a young skater taking their first steps, to a young skater choosing to pursue figure skating to a hockey player making a rep team for the first time.  All because of the hours she has put in helping them chase their dreams.

Great basic skating can take you many places and Lee revels in the chance to help each young skater find out where that will be.
