Adam Zalegowski – Vancouver Skating Club

Adam started his competitive skating career when he was 6 years old. From the beginning, skating became his life passion. At the age of 10, he started a sports school education and from there went on to become the two time Polish Junior National Champion in 1993 and 1994. At the age of 16, he competed at Junior World’s in Budapest, Hungary and finished in top final group (24). He also took part in Junior World’s in Brisbane, Australia in 1995.

Adam has been coaching since 2000 in Poland and Sweden, and since 2005 has been teaching in BC. He has seen several of his students achieve their goals at the Novice and Junior National level.

Adam has a Master Degree, University of Physical Education in Warsaw (2004) and Coaching designation in the Sport Discipline of Figure Skating, Ministry of National Education and Sport (2003) and Sport Manager Diploma, Higher School of Tourism and Recreation in Warsaw (2002).
